How Our Coaches Profit From Their Parenting Coach Certification

One of the biggest questions that we get from people who are considering joining our program and becoming a certified parenting coach, is how exactly our coaches are using their certification.

How many parenting coaches are making a full-time income? How many of them have replaced their salary and corporate jobs?

What's true is that people come through our training program with very different, unique, and individual intentions and goals. We have many parents who join us simply because they want the knowledge and expertise that comes with
becoming a certified parenting coach for the benefit of their own family.

We have parents who go through our program never really intending to go out into the world to become parenting coaches. They get the tools they need to have the kind of relationship that they want to have with their own children (and often as a by-product, this benefits all of their relationships). Some of them are so inspired by what they’ve learned and the transformations in their own families that in the end they decide to pursue parent coaching full time!

We have other coaches who come into our training who are looking for a side gig. These might be stay-at-home parents who love the idea of being able to make an extra couple of thousand dollars a month to add to their family’s vacation fund, for example, but don't really need or intend to have a full coaching practice.

Of course, many people come into our program wanting to have a full practice of parent coaching clients. Many coaches are looking to replace their full-time income by doing this work (and they do). We have people from all professional backgrounds who transition into this new career path. Our coaches include former teachers, nurses, pediatricians, lawyers, early childhood educators, and the list goes on.

It’s the kind of business you can build to suit your individual needs in terms of how much time you want to put in and how much you want to charge. Do you want to work with families one-on-one, or do you want to run group programs?

Some of our coaches are adding a revenue stream to their already existing child-focused or family-focused businesses, like preschool owners, or family therapists.

Finally, about three out of every hundred people or so that come through the training, become what we call empire builders. These are people who take our training, then go on to write books, create online programs, and develop big social media followings.

I know this is a complex answer to the seemingly simple question of what Jai parenting coaches are doing in the world and how successful they are.

I would like to take a moment and turn the question back to you and ask – what's
your intention? What is the successful outcome created by you that would make your investment in this training more than worth it for you?

The truth is that the outcome of this program, like so many things in life, can be whatever you want it to be. You just have to decide what that is and then give yourself full permission to say yes to what you want.
