When it comes to parenting, SO many parents know in their heart and gut that they want to parent differently, but they don’t know how. Parenting coaches are the torch-bearers of peace that get to show other parents that the dreams they have for themselves and their kids are possible

Parenting coaches model that there are ups and downs in parenting, and that we don’t have to be perfect parents in order to be amazing parents. They guide parents into knowing that they can absolutely parent effectively without harshness, yelling, punishments or consequences. And most of all, parenting coaches show parents that no matter what has happened, connection and repair with their kids is always possible.

Transformational parenting coaches are
not perfect parents! So many prospective coaches thinking about coming into this work ask the question: “Who am I to become a Parenting Coach, I’m not a perfect parent?” or say “I feel like I’m setting the bar really high and not living up to it with my parenting” and we say to them—

Wanting to be the best parent for your child(ren), learning from your mistakes, and modeling your parenting transformations is more than enough to be a good parenting coach. Your prospective clients aren’t looking for a perfect parent for a coach; they’re seeking empathy towards what they are going through and the steps and tools to get them from where they are, to where they want to be in their parenting.

Through parent coaching, whether you intend to reach families all over the world or create more peace and connection within your own home, you are positively influencing the next generation of leaders. The Jai transformational parenting method raises happy, confident, and fulfilled children who become the positive change-makers and leaders of this world as adults.

Not to mention, this work doesn’t only affect the relationships you have with your kids. This work transforms romantic relationships, friendships, and work relationships, just to name a few. This isn’t only about changing the lives of parents and children, this is human-centric work that transforms all relationships.

How Can I Get Started?

The process of becoming a Certified Parenting Coach with us here at The Jai Institute for Parenting is quite simple, and is broken down into three sections:

1. First, you’ll go through the program from the client perspective

You begin the program discovering the tools of peace in the home for yourself and your own family, and dive deeply into the nervous system, attachment psychology, brain development science, compassionate communication, emotional intelligence, and joyful relating. Essentially, you get to go through the very same journey you’ll be taking your future clients on, in a small group setting.

We can't possibly take another human being down a path or on a journey that we have not been on ourselves, not when it comes to changing human behavior. As leaders, we must be the first to take the journey so that we can light the way for those who follow us.

2. Second, you’ll take the seat of the coach and be given plenty of practice time and coaching practicums

During the second phase, you’ll be assigned a practice coaching circle that you’ll be working with through the entire program to practice your new skills, while continuing with your small group cohort. You will also take a practice client through the 12-week Transformational Parenting Method and track your progress. In essence, you’re going through the Jai Method again, but this time you're learning how to take another person through that process.

3. Lastly, you’ll learn how to launch your parent coaching practice

Our business training encompasses putting yourself out there as a coaching practice, visibility, getting clients, and enrolling people with integrity and confidence. We believe that great coaches often get lost and can’t help those who need them if they are uncomfortable with sales and marketing, which is why we give you the tools and inspiration to do just that.

If reading about our process excites you and you feel called to embark on your own parent coaching journey, consider enrolling in the
